The purpose of the Parish School Council is to be advisory to the Pastor and Principal. In this capacity, the school board is responsible to incorporate the parish mission into the mission and philosophy of the school. This focus drives all decisions and the strategic plan. Some responsibilities of the Board include:

• policy development

• annual budgeting

• promoting the advancement program

• overseeing mission review

• long range planning

At least one-third of the Board is parents; half of the Board is parishioners. The Board seeks to foster communications with parents and the parish.

The school board has four committees which play an active role in the school community. Those committees are: advancement, finance, strategic planning and nominating committees.
